Hostal 53 has twelve rooms, located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of the City of Santo Domingo, specifically the sector of Gascue, whose name originates from one of its first inhabitants, Francisco Gascue, who was founded in that area in 1735, although the neighborhood had its greatest growth at the beginning of the 20th century; Gascue was a witness to many political events, and presidents, artists, businessmen, intellectuals, diplomats lived in its houses.
