Built in a basin in the Andes Mountains, Selina Cuenca overlooks RĂo Tomebamba, an urban river that runs through the city. Our colonial building is overflowing with Ecuadorian design, plus the bedrooms are full of local influences including cream wicker baskets, alpaca blankets and hand-dyed rugs. Other features include our shared kitchen area, movie room, wellness area, cowork space and restaurant called “The Terrace”.
Just a 5 minute walk from Selina you’ll find historical hotspots like the municipal Calderon Park, Museum of Cañari Identity, the Museum of Skeletons, and the Popular Art Museum. Trek to Cajas National Park, swim in freshwater lakes, watch wild birds like the yellow fauna or rent a bike and tour Incapirca’s ruins. Don’t forget to check out the Incan man carved in the Mountain!
